  • Each semester, a National Math Jam week will be designated, allowing all classes to participate in the National Math Jam. This setup ensures that schedules from all schools across the country can be accommodated, making it possible for every student to engage in exciting mathematical activities and competitions.

  • Exactly one hour. You can start anytime during the National Math Jam week - there's no specific start time required.

  • Just devices with internet browsers - Chromebooks, tablets, laptops, or computers. No downloads, apps, or special software required.

  • No! Students can work in groups of 2-4 sharing devices, or you can facilitate as a whole class with one screen.

  • The Jams are built around the 8 Mathematical Practices, so they complement any math curriculum by developing thinking skills and mathematical discourse.

  • National Math Jam events are completely free for all classrooms.
